Peter Horridge BSc DipTP FRICS MRTPI (Partner) has over thirty years experience in the planning profession: in local government at county and district council level (working on Structure Plans, Local Plans and in development control), in private practice, and overseas. He has also served on several Committees of both the RICS and RTPI and in office in the RICS as Chairman of the West Midlands Planning and Development Division. He has been a partner of Stansgate Planning since its inception in 1986.
Keith Williams DipTP DipProjMan MRTPI MRICS (Partner) has been employed in town and country planning since 1970 and has held positions in both the public and private sectors. Between 1970 and 1983 he worked in local government for County and District Planning Authorities in the West Midlands. In 1983, he joined a leading commercial and industrial development company, dealing with the identification, appraisal, and successful completion of development opportunities. He has been a partner in Stansgate Planning since its formation in 1986.
Andrew Murphy BA MSc MRTPI (Associate) worked in local government from 1993 to 2003, for three local authorities in development control and enforcement, two of them in the West Midlands. Since joining Stansgate in 2003 his projects have included waste management schemes, marina developments, holiday parks, residential care homes, gypsy matters and urban regeneration proposals.
Miranda Rogers BSc MSc MRTPI (Principal Planner) worked for three years in the housebuilding industry, dealing with land buying and planning matters, before joining Stansgate Planning in 2001. She has worked on a wide range of projects involving all aspects of planning including development control, enforcement, lawful use applications, appeal work and site promotion. She particularly specialises in long term strategic matters.
Gillian Stewart BSc DipTP MRTPI (Consultant) has over 30 years experience in various fields of town planning including three years in academic research, six years in local government and the remainder in private practice, formerly as a partner of Stansgate Planning from its inception in 1986, but now as a Consultant. During her period in local government, she headed the Development Control Section of a West Midlands planning authority.
Rachel Best BSc(Hons) Dip TP MRTPI (Principal Planner) started her career in local government development control before moving into house building in 1991 where she dealt with a range of planning matters. This involved strategic site identification, site appraisal, planning applications and appeals including footpath diversion and enforcement. More recently she has specialised in development plan representations and site promotion strategies. Since joining Stansgate in 2009 she has covered a broad spectrum of work including aspects of development control, renewable energy projects, LDF representations and site promotion.
Wojciech Woltmann MSc (Technician) gained his degree in Poland and has worked in the UK since 2005. He has four years experience using Computer Aided Design and modeling packages to produce plans and drawings for planning applications and other purposes. For Stansgate he prepares drawings and illustrations, as well as undertaking surveys and research and providing IT support.
